While waiting for approval for my Plan of Procedures by instructor review, I tested the camera I received in the mail. This camera is a CMOS Color Camera in NTSC format designed for United States Televisions utilizing the Composite video functions of televisions. This camera was shipped by http://www.dealextreme.com/ and included the Camera (which operates off of a 12V DC power supply) as well as the cable I ordered which is the "BNC/RCA/DC Audio Video Power Extension Cable for CCTV Camera (20M-Length)."
This cable is 65.16 feet long and can experience magnetic field wrapped in a coil. Field testing was conducted to ensure it's condition and suitability for the project.
In Systems Engineering II, Two other students and I, will create an Underwater Remote Operate Vehicle in compliance with the competition standards issued by SeaPerch. Design process will be followed and carried out until the 3rd marking period until the construction phase begins. All design and preparation work will be posted here to follow up on our project.
